Hui-Hsuan Hsu
Hui-Hsuan Hsu transforms often overlooked objects and phenomena into digital art. She uses digital techniques to compensate for the limitations of human senses, turning digital devices into a bridge between the artist, the subject, and the audience. Through her work, Hsu challenges the idea of perspective, using the camera as an active agent in shaping how we perceive the world. Her videos spark a sense of imaginative paradox, leading viewers to navigate between the familiar and the unfamiliar, the recognizable and the unrecognizable. Unlike mainstream films, Hsu’s work creates an uncertain and thought-provoking experience, prompting audiences to engage with her “moving image objects” in a new way.
