Currently working and living in Taipei, Taiwan.

My creative work focuses on experiences between places, responding to the concept of “place” through the uncertainty that arises from distance. I organize stories, materials, spatial characteristics, and geographical conditions from different places to describe them through multiple narratives, practicing within a method of imagined spatiality.

“Place” is a vague concept for me. Often, I can have similar feelings in two completely different locations, creating the illusion of approaching a particular place or space. In recent years, I have primarily adopted site-specific production methods, attempting to create a sense of place within spaces. I select materials related to the place, where the cultural memories embedded in these materials resemble fragments of history. I follow the trajectory of these materials to structure narrative logic, constructing pathways within the space to connect places and search for that familiar sensation.
