Born in 1987 in Osaka, Japan, currently residing and creating in Saitama Prefecture.

Graduated in 2012 from the Textile Design Department of Tama Art University.

The artist excels in utilizing various techniques such as weaving, dyeing, knitting, and embroidery to express the interconnectedness of all living things in nature. Her works also guide viewers to explore how contemporary human life is born and sustained by the perpetual cycle of nature, reminding them that what is defined as the end of life—death—is actually the beginning of another form of life. For instance, after the death of humans or animals, their bodies return to the earth over time, reemerging in different forms of life. Through her work, the artist aims to express the concept of life’s continuous cycle. She prefers using materials that can return to the soil, such as cotton and linen fabrics, which she transforms into her fantasy world through dyeing and stitching.
