Born in 1990 in Taiwan, Kaichen Lee currently lives and works in Taipei. She received her M.F.A. from Taipei National University of the Arts, majoring in Ink Painting.

Through the act of “gathering,” she engages with her surroundings to establish a connection with the environment. This process of “daily excavation” drives her artistic practice, utilizing brush, ink, and delicate paper textures to subtly evoke the interplay between the flow of time and the evanescence of objects.
